What is on the Table?

There are seasons in life when we wrestle deeply with God—asking Him the hard questions about calling, purpose, and the use of everything He has invested in us. I remember such a season a few years ago, sitting in church on Marlow Avenue, heart heavy and prayers raw:
“Lord, what do You want me to do with all that You’ve placed in me? With the experiences, the gifts, the lessons, the scars? This can’t just be for me. What do You want me to do with it all?”
I pleaded, and in that stillness, the Spirit’s whisper came:
“What brings you joy?”
It startled me in its simplicity. But immediately, I knew.Helping people rise higher. Watching hearts grow freer. Walking with others as they discover truth, embrace healing, and become whole in Christ. That brings me joy.

So does cultivating beauty—gardening, creating spaces of loveliness, savoring God’s creation, setting tables filled with wholesome, nourishing food, and welcoming others to experience safety, delight, and belonging.
The Lord reminded me to look back at the vision boards, collages, and heart-and-soul maps I’d created over the years. And there it was, woven through every image and dream:
A table.
Lavish and abundant.
Filled with good, nourishing food.
Surrounded by beauty.
Open for others to come, sit, and be filled.
It became clear to me: my calling is to set a table—not only a physical one, but a spiritual one. A table of wholeness, healing, and truth. A table where souls can feast on what makes them strong, whole, and free in Christ.
And here I am today, four or five years later, standing in that revelation. The table is ready. The journey has brought me deeper into reformation, restoration, and redemption. God has shaped me through wilderness and wonder alike, and now I extend this invitation to you:
Come and take your place at the table.Bring your hunger, your questions, your longings. Here, there is nourishment, beauty, truth, and freedom. Here, there is a seat for you.
